Sustainability at KENT International

As with all Berner Group companies, we are committed to central values and one of them is responsibility. We take responsibility for the consequences of our actions. Therefore, we have a strong sense of responsibility and think and act sustainably as much as possible. This includes the environment as well as the people.

For several years, KENT International has been focusing on corporate social responsibility. This raising of consciousness for people and planet resulted in two topics we care about the most in terms of social responsibility:

One is the work on diversity and the integration on site of a team of disabled people. Integration with KENT employees is excellent, it and brings a real dynamic to the social relations of the company.

The other is to implement new actions that help save the environment and safe save resources. In recent months, for example, the distribution of mugs and glass bottles helps limit the use of plastic cups. Recently, a longer-term project on the integration of bees resulted in 2 hives being installed in early July, in order to promote and maintain biodiversity. This dynamic will allow us to develop a real policy on the social responsibility of the company and other projects will follow.

In the long term, we also want to have an impact on our sales subsidiaries and, for example, KENT France has already, to through its employees, initiated a reduction in the use of plastic cups.
