Application
Quickfill has been developed as a quick, easy and safe alternative to 2K primer fillers for small, localised repair areas.
There is no need to move the vehicle into the spray booth to apply the product to small repair areas, plus there is no need to mix an accurate amount of 2K material with the risk of mixing too much and wasting material. It also reduces the amount of solvent in the bodyshop as no spray gun cleaner is required.
Quickfill dries in approx. 20 minutes, allowing for quick sanding prior to final painting. Thanks to its high adhesion and flexibility, Quickfill is not only suitable for repairs on metal, but also on plastic parts such as mirror housings or bumpers.
Instructions
- Shake well before use.
- Clean the surface with KENT Acrysol.
- Keep a distance of 20 – 30 cm from the surface. Apply the product in light coats as this will enable faster drying times between coats and achieve the desired overall thickness more quickly. It also prevents the trapping of solvent in the finished repair, which can cause solvent pop.
- Allow to flash off for 20 minutes at room temperature.
- Sand smooth if necessary.
- Can be overpainted with most standard solvent-based automotive paints.
