Application
Matting Discs are available in four grits to fit any job:
- FINE (A1187) ~ P600-800
Used to deglaze OEM no-scratch or ceramic clear followed by SUPER FINE. - SUPER FINE (A1188) ~ P1200-1500
Ideal for sanding of spray filler (or primer) or matting prior to topcoat application. - MICRO FINE (A1189) ~ P1500-2000
Particularly useful for quick and safe deglazing of an old finish before “blending in” with a new one. Scuffing without levelling or breaking through. - ULTRA FINE (A1190) ~ P2000-2500
Ideal for deglazing prior to polishing, using either a wool pad or an orange foam pad depending on the hardness of the finish.
Instructions
- Select the appropriate disc for the job.
- Apply the chosen disc to the backing pad of the sander, ensuring that it is centred and that the dust extraction holes are aligned with those on the backing pad.
- Place on the surface and start the machine.
- When the disc has reached the end of its life, remove and replace with a new disc.
