Application
Ultra Plastic is used by bodyshop professionals to level dents, scratches and dings on automotive plastics and to provide an excellent finish to plastic repairs. It can be applied in 5 – 10 mm layers (depending on the size of the area).
Always use a mixing pallet to minimise air inclusions and reduce the risk of contamination from other products. Use Spray Guide to detect imperfections in the final finish.
Ultra Plastic is compatible with all leading paint systems.
Instructions
- Clean surface with Plastic Prep to ensure all previous coatings have been removed.
- Mix the putty and 2 – 4 % (by weight) hardener to a homogeneous colour using a spatula in a sweeping ‘figure of eight’ motion.
- Apply with spatula. The mixture has a pot life of approx. 2 – 6 minutes depending on the ambient temperature.
- The putty can be sanded approx. 15 – 30 minutes after application.
- Compatible with all leading automotive refinish paint systems.
The hardening process is accelerated by heat and retarded by cold. Use below 10 °C is not recommended.
