Application
Working with Carbon Blocks is the safest and most durable way to eliminate any type of paint defects.
Carbon Blocks are available in three grits:
- 85704: Carbon Block 800 (red)
- 85647: Carbon Block 1500 (blue)
- 85648: Carbon Block 3000 (green)
The Carbon Blocks are also available as a kit (85626) which, in addition to a block of each grit size, includes a sanding and cleaning block for stripping and levelling and a waterproof box for storing the Carbon Blocks.
Instructions
Note: Before using the carbon bars for the first time, soak them completely in water for 24 hours.
- Choose the grit of the bar according to the type of application (P800 or P1500).
- Round off the corners by rubbing the bar on the rectangular support.
- Wet the surface to be treated and move the bar, keeping it parallel to the working area.
- Always work with water.
- Always finish with the P3000 bar before rounding off the corners.
- Wipe off and polish as usual.
Always keep the bars into the waterproof container, immersed in water.
