Application

Working with Carbon Blocks is the safest and most durable way to eliminate any type of paint defects.

Carbon Blocks are available in three grits:

  • 85704: Carbon Block 800 (red)
  • 85647: Carbon Block 1500 (blue)
  • 85648: Carbon Block 3000 (green)
The Carbon Blocks are also available as a kit (85626) which, in addition to a block of each grit size, includes a sanding and cleaning block for stripping and levelling and a waterproof box for storing the Carbon Blocks.

Instructions

Note: Before using the carbon bars for the first time, soak them completely in water for 24 hours.

  1. Choose the grit of the bar according to the type of application (P800 or P1500).
  2. Round off the corners by rubbing the bar on the rectangular support.
  3.  Wet the surface to be treated and move the bar, keeping it parallel to the working area.
  4. Always work with water.
  5. Always finish with the P3000 bar before rounding off the corners.
  6. Wipe off and polish as usual.

Always keep the bars into the waterproof container, immersed in water.
