Application

34C is ideal for stainless steel, dissimilar metals and metal plating like chrome, nickel and cadmium.
Typical applications are: Dairy equipment, food/beverage equipment, toilet fixtures, hobby repairs, electrical repair, heater control cables, hydraulic shafts, refrigeration, regulators, repair/fabrication of stainless steel equipment, food vessels, sinks, kitchen/hospital equipment and parts subjected to vibration.
Wherever common solder is subject to vibration, sudden jarring or other stresses, use Certanium 34C to eliminate potential joint failures.

Instructions

1. Clean joint area.
2. Heat the base metal with a soft flame until the solder activates. For best results, do not direct the flame on the solder alloy.
3. Even heating of the base metal ensures complete bonding and best capillary flow.
4. After soldering allow parts too completely cool.
5. On stainless steel and refractory metals, tin both parts before joining.
6. When tinning surfaces, use a damp cloth and wipe while the metal is still hot.
