Application

Primer DC is used for pretreatment of mineral substrates, such as brickwork, concrete and lightweight concrete and pretreatment of wooden substrates (such as seams in teakwood ship decks).
When Primer DC is applied on light coloured substrates (for example on natural stone), despite the fact that the primer is basically clear, a dark colour/shadow can occur.
Not recommended for locations subject to continuous water emersion and not for PP, PE, Teflon, neoprene and bituminous substrates.

Instructions

1. Sand or brush the substrates before applying Primer DC.
2. Ensure that substrates are cleaned, firm, dry, dust and grease free, using KENT Soft Surface Cleaner.
3. Pour as much Primer DC as can be used within 30 minutes into a clean recipient and immediately close the original bottle firmly. Stir well.
4. Using a clean brush, apply KENT Primer DC onto the adhesion surface in a continuous coat or film. The application temperature should be within 5ºC to 30ºC. Allow a minimum of 20 minutes for the primer to dry.
5. Best results are obtained when the bonding/sealing is made within 6 hours of applying the primer, therefore, do not apply more KENT Primer DC than can be sealed within 6 hours.
