As a sales representative, you are able to learn from the very beginning to work practically, build up new customer relationships and to improve existing contacts. At With KENT (whether automotive, industrial or marine) you will have the chance to present the innovative and unique premium products of KENT in impressive demonstrations. You are the first point of contact to for our customers, whenever there is a problem or demand. Help our customers to expand their own business and to increase the customer base. Contribute to the success of others!

What does the work of a sales representative look like?

  • Your job includes consulting and selling. Advise both small customers and our key accounts and show our customers the benefits of our products for their own business. Our customers trust in the high premium quality of our products and you have the opportunity to underline this through product demonstrations
  • You will get from our back office all the important data and statistics you need for successful planning: whether it’s customer data, performance statistics, buying patterns or any kind of other customer information.  All this will help you to strengthen customer relationships in the long term
  • In your first week you are introduced to all back-office employees at KENT. You are able to take a look at the different departments, like Marketing, Product Management or Finance. 
  • You receive a Welcome Pack with all equipment needed for a successful start as a KENT sales man. This includes not only KENT clothes, but also all kinds of IT equipment and your company car. 
  • You are also introduced to the philosophy of KENT and the detailed plan, which was developed especially for your needs. 
  • With your mentor, you will go around the sales area, meet long-term customers and get a first impression of how your future as a KENT sales man will look like. 
  • Our product portfolio contains almost 1,000 different articles. We know, that this sounds a lot and we don't expect you to know all of them by heart. For our main products and product categories, you are able to participate in a training. You will receive samples as well, which you can use later to present them to your personal list of customers.
  • A sophisticated sales training especially developed for KENT will help you to make the best product demonstrations possible. At the end of your initial training, you and your mentor will go through your own sales area and KENT will hand over the data of your own customers. 
  • There will be a frequent exchange between you and your sales manager. But you also have the chance to share your experiences with your colleagues through different events.
