Application
Flexi No Edge Blending Tape is a flexible foam with a rubber based pressure sensitive adhesive but without a crepe masking tape which gives this tape much more flexibility compared to NEBT.
The product is designed for masking of curved style lines (like wheel arches) and panel edges to blend from old to new paintwork. FNEBT assures a quick lay down, no residue on de-masking.
Instructions
1. Apply the tape on the panel next to the swage line ensuring that edge is level with the panel bend, then push the tape to secure into place.
2. Mask the surrounding area as normal and spray the panel as normal.
3. Remove tape before or after drying, depending on preference.
4. Remove the masking material exposing a seamless transition between the old and new paintwork.
5. This will now result in a perfect blending of the paintwork along the swage line edge avoiding any unnecessary rework.
