Application

The Pads are colour coded for ease of identification and application
the colour difference is based on different density of foam. A denser foam will remove deeper scratches and is more abrasive. As a general rule, you should use the lowest density foam that will get the job done.
Micro-Wool XC 15 Pad:
Latest innovation in compounding pad technology, delivers the speed of cut of a conventional lambswool pad without creating the micro-scratches and swirls.
Effortlessly removes deeper scratches (P1500) but leaves a high gloss finish.
Natural Lambswool Pad:
Super-fast cutting action, when used in combination with heavy cutting compound. Highly durable and washable.
Black Foam Pad:
Ultra-fine and soft polishing pad, ideally used with light cutting compound to remove holograms and leave a mirror finish to all paint surfaces
Orange Foam Pad:
Fine compounding foam, designed to remove swirls and fine scratches (car wash machines, etc.) from all types of paint surface.
Best results when coupled with medium cutting compound/ finish compound for removal of holograms.
White Foam Pad:
General purpose compounding foam.
Can be used with heavy cutting compound for fast P1500 scratch removal and medium cutting compound for first phase detailing work.
Yellow Hard Foam Pad:
Speciality coarse cutting foam, designed to offer maximum speed of scratch removal.
Use with heavy cutting compound for optimum action.
