Position specification :

• Sales management experience with good business acumen.
• Superior organizational, listening, presentation, planning and negotiation skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to demonstrate leadership skills in the areas of sales and marketing
• Understanding the Marketing process.
• Visit current and significant potential customers across the entire country – full responsibility of key Accounts
• Ability to look at the bigger picture and not get tied up with small details.
• Ability to work flexible hours as the job requires.

Functional Scope :

• Recruitment; discipline and dismissal of sales staff within the country in conjunction with HR and following the company guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Lead implementation of the business strategic initiatives to ensure continued sustainable growth of the businesses within the defined geography.
• Increase sales and profits, including key accounts and corporate accounts.
• Lead sales force activities to ensure market potential is maximized.
• Play an active role in sales planning, budgeting, forecasting and plan implementation.
• Develop an effective working environment to create informed, motivated teams.
• Set aggressive sales targets and ensure that they are achieved in a cost effective way.

Organizational relationships:

• Reports to the Commercial General Manager Benelux
• Close functional relationship with the European Directors (Sales & Marketing, Corporate accounts) and other Managers.
• Direct report with Industrial Field Sales Staff
• Supported by Benelux Back office based in Belgium
